With a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet from the prestigious University of the Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Redlands—earned amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic—Deb’s dedication to her craft has left an indelible mark on the music and entertainment industry.

As the charismatic bandleader of the award-winning Belle Air Brass, an all-women ensemble, Deb delivers electrifying performances that span holiday classics, patriotic anthems, Oktoberfest revelry, and swinging jazz standards. The group has captivated audiences at iconic venues such as Disneyland, The Grove, Universal Studios Hollywood, and even Universal Studios Japan, with international tours in Taiwan and Japan earning global acclaim. Their performances at high-profile events, including the Santa Clause 3 movie premiere and Herb Alpert’s holiday party, showcase their versatility and infectious energy.

Deb’s talents extend far beyond the stage. Handpicked to conduct the prestigious Moonlight Orchestra at the Oscars Governors Ball, she brought cinematic elegance to one of Hollywood’s most celebrated events. As the founder of WAG Records, a Grammy-nominated label, Deb has produced innovative music projects, collaborating with legends like Herb Alpert, John Williams, and Quincy Jones. Her on-camera presence in shows like The Tonight Show and General Hospital earned her membership in the Screen Actors Guild, solidifying her as a multifaceted force in entertainment. A sought-after musician, she’s performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Pacific Symphony, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Jazz Orchestra, gracing stages at the NAMM Show, Los Angeles County Museum of Art Jazz Series, and Rochester Jazz Festival.

As president of the Inclusive Arts Empowerment Foundation, she empowers students with disabilities by bringing the transformative power of the arts into their lives, fostering creativity and community. Her commitment to nurturing talent also shines through in her pride for her daughter, Ellio, a graduate of the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York, who carries forward the family’s legacy of passion and artistry as an aspiring actor and musician.
